Tonight was the last night of the Rose Moon. The Rose Moon is the American-Colonial name of the moon that appears in the month of June. (According to this really interesting Moon-related-info site: [link])
I wanted to make a tribute to this moon since my mom and I went nuts over the past month and planted seven new rose bushes in our garden.
I also wanted to try my hand at photomanipulation. Never done anything on this large a scale before. I don't think it is perfect, or good, or even in the right category... but constructive criticism and helpful hints will be much appreciated, particularly on how to improve my digital manipulation skills.
It really was my first try. I just didn't want it to look really choppy and pasted together...
