Happy Halloween 2007

I wasn't going to post my jack'o'lantern pictures until I started taking pictures of it.

I was inspired to carve a similar pumpkin as ~thedustyphoenix's pumpkin [link].

I happened to have a tiny pie pumpkin after I visited a pumpkin farm with my mom's grade one class. (Yes the little guy is a pie pumpkin. We've had a drought year.) And I had a giant pumpkin. So as I was sitting there, I was like, oh why not copy that great idea.

So I did. But my pictures didn't go to great and I've been away for a while from dA and therefore I wasn't going to post this... But the last picture was so cute I had to!

The story behind the last one is this: My fav childrens story had this part in the story about how a person put used a jack'o'lanterns outside and a field mouse went inside him and hibernated for the winter. And the pumpkin slowly closed his mouth and the two slept for the winter. So I wanted to capture that moment of the pumpkin going outside. Well I loved the pose of the little pumpkin in this! It was too funny. And the sag to the big one. He looks so sinister!

So I had to post this. Complete with long winded story.
